The Showcase of Fine Arts is now featuring the artwork of Judy Kelley, a local pastelest & colored pencil artist. She uses Canson pastel paper on the textured side to get the look she likes. Canson is available at Ye Olde Art Shoppe for only $1.99 per sheet. Most of Judy's pictures are painted on a half sheet.Judy's art will be on display for the entire month of December. Stop by to see her work and enter a free drawing. You could win one of two original paintings by Judy.
Judy has been painting with pastels for about 6 years and before that played with colored pencils. She has recently renewed her interest in colored pencils when she took a class taught by Stephany Harrison at Ye Olde Art Shoppe.
You are also invited to attend her reception on Saturday, December 5th from 10am - 1pm. Refreshments will be served and the public is welcome.
